Resilience is accepting reality, a deep belief in strong values and that life means more with an uncanny ability to improvise. While the last few years have stretched my own resilience, I have found that life does a pretty good job of smacking reality in my face and I’m fortunate to have my family remind me daily how much there is more to life than winning in business. Where I find myself tested the most is in my values. Even now, in new growth, I’m back to redefining the values that matter most. Are they resilient enough to stand the test of time?

Some of my key values have been –

Courage.

Vulnerability.

Compassion.

Play.

Belonging.

Gratitude.

Generosity.

None of these values are about winning more or earning more. They’re about living a life wholehearted. What values are defining you?
